The Château d’Eyran team is pleased to invite you to the new edition of the Pessac-Léognan Open House Days on December 3rd and 4th, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
This annual event is a great opportunity to share a moment of conviviality before the end-of-year festivities! Whether you’re young or old, a connoisseur or a novice, local or just passing through: everyone is welcome.

TOURS

Of course, the traditional tours will be available. Traditional, yes, but always with the Château d’Eyran twist. This year, you will have the chance to taste the 2021 Merlot, unblended AND directly from the barrel! A unique experience that will make you a budding oenologist (almost)!

Each tour will be followed by a tasting. Of course, you can also go straight to discovering our wines; don’t hesitate to visit the reception, and our team will guide you to the tasting room.

WORKSHOPS
If for you, Open House means discoveries, we have just what you need: workshops!

The first is a workshop with Charles Savigneux, the manager of the estate. This weekend’s topic will be “understanding the challenges in the vineyard in the face of climate change.” This relaxed discussion is a true moment of exchange with the winemaker, accessible to all curious minds!

The second workshop is the big novelty of this year. If you’ve been to our open house before, you may have already met Mauro Ceballos. A Chilean artist, he is the creator of the world’s first comic book drawn entirely with wine. This year, Mauro will share his passion through a painting class, of course, with wine! No prerequisites needed, just bring good humor and creativity!

La maison Gauthier is back this year. This family-run charcuterie business hails from the Landes region. On display will be quality products that are also authentic. The terroir of the Southwest is expressed through intergenerational recipes. A true know-how to discover without delay. The team is already fully convinced.
This year, you will have the chance to meet Serge fromLa Fromagerie Ferme Bethanoun. Coming straight from the lush hills of the Basque Country, he is eager to share his passion passed down through generations and, of course, his wonderful products. Sheep’s cheeses, homemade preserves: enough to delight this winter! We can’t wait to taste everything—how about you?


And to finish, wellness bubbles! Yes, you deserve it. Anaïk will be present to introduce you to her Ayurvedic massages and treatments. Rejuvenate, relax, revitalize for the new year, or simply treat yourself: there are plenty of good reasons to meet her… I’ve even heard that it will be possible to get a massage on-site!
